Privacy Policy

Seven Hands is built on Supabase (for authentication, database, and real-time gameplay sync) and hosted on Vercel. We collect the minimum information needed to run accounts, matchmaking, ranked ELO, and gameplay itself. We do not currently integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and the username you choose. Your password is handled and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) and is never visible to us in plain text.

Gameplay & statistics. We store the data needed to run matches and rankings: your ELO rating and its history, match results, hands played, and in-game statistics (such as wins, losses, and tricks won). During an active match, we process the cards dealt and the moves you and other players make so the game can be played and synced in real time between clients.

Technical information. Standard connection and log data (such as IP address, timestamps, and device/browser information) may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers to operate, secure, and debug the Service.

• To create and secure your account, and authenticate you;
• To operate core gameplay: matchmaking, dealing and syncing cards during a hand, and enforcing game rules;
• To calculate and display ELO ratings, leaderboards, and match history;
• To detect and prevent cheating, collusion, boosting, and abuse as described in our Terms of Service;
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your gameplay data to serve third-party advertising.

We rely on the following infrastructure providers to run the Service:

• Supabase — authentication, database (account, profile, ELO, and match data), and real-time communication during gameplay.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and data processing terms; we choose providers that offer appropriate security and confidentiality commitments.

We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active, so that your ELO history, match history, and profile remain intact. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for fraud-prevention purposes or longer under applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your username and email directly in account settings. To request a copy of your data or full account deletion, contact us at contact@sevenhands.games. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and consistent with our Terms of Service, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and our providers' security infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our infrastructure providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as our providers' standard contractual clauses) to protect data transferred internationally.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, in-app or by email) before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
